Parallel Ready Stance




CHON-JI








1.  Move the left foot to B, forming a left front stance, while executing a left low block to B.

2.  Move the right foot to B, forming a right front stance, while executing a right middle punch to B.

3.  Move the right foot to A, turning clockwise, forming a right front stance, while executing a right low block to A.

4.  Move the left foot to A, forming a left front stance, while executing a left middle punch to A

5.  Move the left foot to D, forming a left front stance, while executing a left low block to D.

6.  Move the right foot to D, forming a right front stance, while executing a right middle punch to D.

7.  Move the right foot to C, turning clockwise, forming a right front stance, while executing a right low block to C.

8.  Move the left foot to C, forming a left front stance, while executing a left middle punch to C.

9.  Move the left foot to A, forming a right back stance, while executing a left middle inner forearm block to A.

10.  Move the right foot to A, forming a right front stance, while executing a right middle punch to A.

11.  Move the right foot to B, turning clockwise, forming a left back stance, while executing a right middle inner forearm block to B.

12.  Move the left foot to B, forming a left front stance, while executing a left middle punch to B.

13.  Move the left foot to C, forming a right back stance, while executing a left middle inner forearm block to C.

14.  Move the right foot to C, forming a right front stance, while executing a right middle punch to C.

15.  Move the right foot to D, turning clockwise, forming a left back stance, while executing a right middle inner forearm block to D.

16.  Move the left foot to D, forming a left front stance, while executing a left middle punch to D.

17.  Move the right foot to D, forming a right front stance, while executing a right middle punch to D.  Kihap.

18.  Move the right foot to C, forming a left front stance toward D, while executing a left middle punch to D.

19.  Move the left foot to C, forming a right front stance toward D, while executing a right middle punch to D.

Baroh: Bring the left foot back to a ready stance. 





ONE STEP SPARRING





1.  Step out with the left foot, forming a left front stance, while executing a left rising block. Execute a triple punch (right-middle, left-middle, right-high).  Step back counter-clockwise with the left foot, forming a left back stance, while executing a double outer forearm block.  Kihap.  Baroh.

2.  Step out with the left foot, forming a right back stance, while executing a left middle inner forearm block. Execute a double punch (right-middle, left-high).  Step back counter-clockwise with the left foot, forming a left back stance, while executing a double outer forearm block.  Kihap. Baroh.

3.  Step out with left foot, 45 degrees outside opponent's front foot, forming a middle stance, while executing a left palm heel block.  Execute a quadruple punch (right-middle, left-middle, right-high, left-high). Step back counter-clockwise with the left foot, forming a left back stance, while executing a double outer forearm block.  Kihap.  Baroh.

ONE STEPS WITH A PARTNER


1.  Start facing your partner in ready position.

2.  The lower rank (or younger student, if same rank) steps the right foot back, forming a left front stance, while executing a left low block.  Kihap.

3.  The higher rank (or older student, if same rank) will then kihap.

4.  The lower rank then moves the right foot forward, forming a right front stance, while executing a right middle punch.

5.  The higher rank then performs white belt one step #1.

6.  Both partners return to ready position.

7.  Reverse roles and repeat.

8.  Reverse roles again, but this time the higher rank performs one step #2.

9.  Reverse roles and repeat.

10. Reverse roles again, but this time the higher rank performs one step #3.

11. Reverse roles and repeat.

Note- When all 3 one steps have been completed by both partners, start back at the beginning and repeat until the instructor tells you to stop.




EXECUTION SPARRING




1.  Step into a left front stance, while executing a double low block.  Kihap.

2.  Execute a right high front kick landing in a right front stance, while executing a double low block.

3.  Execute a left high front kick landing in a left front stance, while executing a double low block.

4.  Execute a right high side kick landing in a right front stance, while executing a double low block.

5.  Execute a left high side kick landing in a left front stance, while executing a double low block.

Baroh:  Step the right foot forward to a ready stance.
 
 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

1.  Single Wrist Grab (stepping out and stepping in)

2. Two Handed Wrist Grab (stepping out and stepping in)

3. Single Wrist Grab (opposite side)

4. Counter to Rear Bear Hug (foot stomp, elbow strike)

5. Back Falls and Front Falls
